AAUW Political Forum 2010

The Little Rock Branch is 82 years old. We elected our first President in 1926. We have much to offer our members, including monthly meetings with interesting programs and speakers, volunteer opportunities, online notifications of important local, state and national events that impact Women, a Facebook page, and most importantly – fellowship and support. The LR Branch is a founding board member of the Little Rock School District Volunteers in Public Schools. We are Partners in Education with Carver Magnet Science and Math Elementary School, located in Little Rock. The school’s website is http://www.lrsd.org/schoolindex.cfm?sccode=21

To inform our members of the meetings, programs, and speakers, we update the LR Branch website and Facebook page, create Facebook events, email members, publish a monthly newsletter online, and call/mail those who do not have electronic access.
